2. $SHELL is a Utility Token, Not an Investment

$SHELL is designed to unlock features within SoulShell. It is not:

• A security, share, or equity in SoulShell
• A promise of profit or return
• Backed by any government or guaranteed asset
• A claim on the company's revenue or assets

If you purchase $SHELL expecting it will increase in value so you can resell at a profit, you are speculating. This is risky.

3. Volatility

$SHELL price will fluctuate, often drastically and unpredictably. Possible scenarios:

• Token price may drop 50-99% within hours or days
• Liquidity may dry up, making it impossible to sell
• Token may become worthless
• Market manipulation by whales or bots is common in small-cap tokens

4. Technology Risks

Blockchain technology carries inherent risks:

• Smart contract bugs — despite best efforts, code may have vulnerabilities
• Solana network issues — downtime, congestion, or protocol changes
• Wallet security — if you lose your seed phrase, your tokens are gone forever
• Transaction failures — slippage, MEV, sandwich attacks, front-running

5. Regulatory Risks

The legal status of cryptocurrency and utility tokens varies by jurisdiction and is evolving. Specific risks:

• Your country may classify $SHELL as a security, making it illegal to hold or trade
• Tax treatment may be unclear — you're responsible for your own tax obligations
• Regulators may take action that affects $SHELL's availability or value
• Exchanges may delist $SHELL without warning

6. Restricted Jurisdictions

7. Scam Risks

Be alert to scams targeting $SHELL holders:

• Fake contract addresses — always verify from the official tokenomics page
• Fake support staff — we will never DM you first or ask for your private keys
• Fake airdrops — airdrops only claimable from soulshell.xyz
• Phishing sites — bookmark the real URL

8. Team & Project Risks

SoulShell is an experimental indie project. Known risks include:

• Development may slow or stop
• Key features promised in the roadmap may be delayed, changed, or cancelled
• The team is small and may not always be responsive
• Hosting, API, or infrastructure disruptions may affect the product

9. Liquidity Risks

Liquidity Provider (LP) tokens are locked for 12 months on Streamflow. After that period, liquidity could be reduced or removed. Always check the lock status before purchasing large amounts.

10. No Refunds

All purchases and transactions involving $SHELL are final. There are no refunds. If you regret your decision, you must sell at market price, which may result in losses.

11. Mental Health Consideration

SoulShell is built for neurodivergent users, some of whom may be more vulnerable to impulsive financial decisions. We want to be honest: do not treat $SHELL as a way to "win big" — most tokens lose value. If you are in a vulnerable mental state or struggling financially, do not purchase $SHELL.
